How to delete your ToVoicy account and the data that goes with it.
This page is for ToVoicy, the text to speech reader for iPhone, Android and the web, developed by ToVoicy (tovoicy.com). Questions go to hello@tovoicy.com.
Accounts are optional. You only have one if you signed in, with Apple on iPhone or with Google on Android or the web, to use Studio voices or buy credit packs. If you never signed in, there is no account to delete: your documents and settings live only on your device, and deleting the app removes them.
The account is deleted immediately. The Account settings button only appears while you are signed in.
Write to hello@tovoicy.com with the subject "Delete my ToVoicy account". Send it from the email address on the account. If you signed in with Apple and chose to hide your email, your account holds an Apple relay address instead; send your request from any address and include that relay address, which is listed for ToVoicy in your Apple account settings under Sign in with Apple. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address before we act on it. We delete the account within 30 days and reply when it is done.
Credits you had left are lost when the account is deleted and cannot be restored.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in the store you bought it from: on iPhone, the Settings app, then your name, then Subscriptions; on Android, the Google Play app, then your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Usage analytics and crash reports are not stored with your account on our server. They are kept by Mixpanel and Firebase under their retention settings. To ask for those to be deleted too, write to hello@tovoicy.com. The privacy policy describes everything ToVoicy collects.
