Listen to anything
Drop a PDF, a book, a link or your own text. You hear it read back before anything is asked of you.
or drop it anywhere on this page. Up to 25 MB.
PDF, EPUB, TXT, Markdown and HTML. Nothing is kept after it is read.
Anything you already have
PDFs, ePub books, web pages and pasted text. Navigation and adverts are stripped out before a word is read.
Thirty-one languages
The language is taken from the text rather than asked for, so a document in two languages still reads correctly.
No length limit
A four hundred page book is the same to it as a paragraph, and it remembers where you stopped.
Your files stay yours
A document is read and discarded. Nothing is stored, nothing is sold, and nothing trains anything.
Voices worth listening to
Ten voices that run on your phone, and studio voices rendered on our servers when you want the best one.
Free to try, here
Drop something in and hear it. No account, no card, nothing to install to find out whether you like it.
Take it with you
The iPhone app reads offline: the voices live on the phone, so a flight or a tunnel changes nothing. It scans printed pages with the camera and keeps your place in every document.
